Susannah specialises in individual hand-crafted wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, page-boy suits, waistcoats, cravats, evening wear and corsets. All garments are made to measure and a calico toile (mock-up ) is made for fitting purposes. Gowns can be simple, classic and drapey, or rich, elaborate and structured-The choice is yours. Susannah will give advice on style, fabrics and embellishments, to produce the “look” you personally require. Using fine quality silks and couture techniques, her work shows great attention to detail, with many of her creations including features such as piped seams, boning, hand- covered buttons, rouleau loops and hand stitched hems Her work can be viewed at a studio by appointment. |
